✨ Returning to My Roots — and Flying Again ✨

As I prepare to leave for Europe in a couple of weeks, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to belong — to a practice, a place, and a path that keeps evolving.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Whether near or far, it’s all connected. 🌍🧘‍♀️

🌿 Connecting to My Roots

Twenty-three years ago, I began teaching yoga in Shawano community.

Back then, yoga was a quiet offering — not yet trendy, not everywhere — just breath, movement, and a deep desire to feel whole.

What I started wasn’t just a class — it was a seed.

And over time, that seed grew into something beautiful — a community, a rhythm, a way of being.

Now, the landscape has changed. Yoga is everywhere. And while that’s something to celebrate, it’s also a moment to reflect.

So much has expanded but so has my path — and my heart.

These days, I teach both here and abroad. Each place offers its own wisdom. When I travel, I’m learning, growing, and gathering insights that I bring home — like offerings placed gently at the feet of this community.

And I want to share something I’m deeply excited about:

I’m currently enrolled in a 3-year professional training in Somatic Education through the Thomas Hanna Institute, focused on one-on-one and online services within the healthcare field. Currently offering Thursdays workshops.

I continue to study and teach Integrative Yoga through Joseph LePage and Structural Yoga Therapy with Mukunda Stiles — two approaches that continue to shape my own healing and teaching. "Myofascial Yoga" is added to the weekly classes as it is a way to move your body freely when holding posture becomes a challenge and allowing you to bring in nourishment weather it is physical or energetic.

And I’ve also begun a long term study to become a Naturopath (Heilpraktiker), so I can bring even more holistic, well-rounded care to the people I serve.

This isn’t just continuing education — it’s a recommitment to my purpose.

To support healing. To honor the nervous system. To hold space for transformation — one breath at a time.

What’s ahead is exciting. I’m weaving together everything I’ve learned into new offerings:

✨ Gentle but powerful breathwork-Pranayama

✨ Somatic practices for regulation and embodiment - Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sensory layer)

✨ Yoga that meets the full human experience — body, mind, and soul - The 5 Kosha's - (5 layers of being) - Yoga Philosophy

Through all these seasons, one truth has stayed steady:

This yoga practice still moves me.

And the opportunity to share it — here and around the world — fills me with deep gratitude and awe.

What’s ahead is exciting. I’m weaving together everything I’ve learned into new teachings:

✨ Gentle but powerful work with the breath

✨ Nervous system regulation through movement and stillness

✨ Yoga that meets the whole human experience — with presence, softness, and truth

So if you’re longing to reconnect — to yourself, to your body, to a practice that honors depth over display — I invite you to come along.

And while I’m away, our center remains grounded through community.

I am so grateful for Becky B., who continues to hold space at Wholistic Yoga Center every Wednesday from 5:30–6:30 PM with her Meditation & Movement class.

It’s a midweek hour of breath, stillness, and gentle movement — a space to come back to yourself.

Whether we’ve practiced together before or are just now crossing paths —

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for walking this path in your own way.

And thank you for allowing me to keep returning to my roots, again and again.

With breath and courage,

Silvia V.
